Specialty Plywoods
Marine Timbers stock a range of specialty plywoods for a wide variety of purposes. These include:

Acoustiply Plywood with a heavy, mass-loaded core material to provide excellent acoustic dampening.

Birch Ply Available in thicknesses ranging from 0.4mm and up. Fine grained, easily worked, ideal for models.

Cortech Balsa-cored plywood, has a very high stiffness to weight and strength to weight ratio. For use in boat hulls, decks etc. Also has accoustic properties.

Ledply Lead-cored plywood for use in the walls of X-ray rooms, and other radioactive applications, as well as for maximum soundproofing.

Plyflex Very flexable plywood which can take on any desired shape.

Speaker-ply Birch plywood for the construction of high quality sound-system speakers. Available in 1220x2440x18mm sheet size.
